EXPOSICION DE ARTE “UNICIDAD”

Mi historia de vida y la influencia de la naturaleza están hoy integradas en mi trabajo como artista: la pintura y el arte textil, así como las conchas de mar, danzan juntas en mi arte.

Recientemente, entre el 3 y el 7 de febrero 2023, llevé a cabo mi primera Exposición de Arte con conchas de mar, la llamé “UNICIDAD”, y la expuse en Puerto Velero, una de las playas más hermosas de CHILE.

“Busca… y a ver si encuentras dos seres iguales… demorarás horas, días… una eternidad
No hay dos seres ni dos conchitas iguales, el Universo creativo sólo sabe crear UNICIDAD”

Esta muestra incluyó 3 tipos de obras:

Obras de arte textil con forma de mandala, haciendo uso de sisal, yute, linos, sedas, cordones de algodón, rafia y otras fibras naturales que acogieron y resaltaron la belleza de las conchas de mar.

Obras con pastas y pinturas acrílicas que recrearon espacios arenosos como dunas y playas donde habitan las conchas de mar.

Obras con patrones geométricos, que nos muestran un conjunto formado por bellas unicidades.

My life story and the influence of nature are now integrated into my work as an artist: Painting and textile art, as well as sea shells, dance together in my art.
Recently, between the 3rd and 7th of February 2023, I carried out my first Art Exhibition with sea shells. I called it «UNICIDAD», and exhibited it in Puerto Velero, one of the most beautiful beaches in the North of Chile.

«Search… and see if you find two identical beings… it will take hours, days… an eternity.
There are no two beings or two shells alike, the creative Universe only knows how to create UNICITY”

This sample included 3 types of artworks:

Artworks of textile art in the shape of a mandala, using sisal, jute, linen, silk, cotton cords, raffia and other natural fibers that welcomed and highlighted the beauty of sea shells.

Artworks with pastes and acrylic paints that recreated sandy spaces such as dunes and beaches where sea shells inhabit.

Artworks with geometric patterns of various unique shells, which form harmonic pieces of art

¿Dónde guardas tus sueños y colores?
¿Tienes la llave de tu bóveda?

Seguro conoces la clave, y eso te devuelve esperanza
Pero seguro que tu jugar temeroso te juega malas jugadas
Te detiene, te aprisiona, te limita.

Tell me…
Where are you that I can’t see you?
Where do you keep your dreams and colours?
Do you have the key of your vault?

Sure you have the key, and that brings you back hope
But surely your fearful playing plays you bad moves
It stops you, imprisons you, limits you.

Aunque juegues a las escondidas sabes que te podrás encontrar
Y eso te alienta, te fascina.

¿Dónde se dibuja tu horizonte?
¿Qué quisieras crear?
¿Cuáles son tus sueños de artista?
¿Con cuántos colores quieres jugar?

Even when playing hide and seek you know you will find yourself
And that encourages you, it fascinates you

Where do you draw the horizon?
What would you like to create?
What are your dreams as an artist?
With how many colours do you want to play?

¿Dónde estás que no te veo?
¡Aquí estás!
Te veo, te siento, te amo
¡Estás viva!
Eres pequeña y eres grande a la vez
Quizás una y todas tal vez.

There you are!
I see you, I feel you, I love you

¡Bien! Tu alma lanzó una chispa
Quieres jugar a ser artista, la artista que llevas dentro
La mujer que crea, que juega y ama con los colores
Que viste el mundo de colores y de texturas
La mujer que sueña, que diseña, recrea y transforma.

Te invito a jugar con toda la paleta de colores
Dando saltos y sintiendo quieta
Explorando nuevos mundos
Y creando otros de artista, de madre, de mujer, de poeta, de educadora…..de vida
Pero sobretodo de AMOR
Somos una.

Who do you want to be now?
Great! Your soul released a spark
You want to play the artist, the artist you have inside
The woman that creates, that plays and loves with the colours
That dresses the world with colours and textures
The woman that dreams, that designs, recreates and transforms

I invite you to play with the whole colour palette
Making jumps and feeling calm
Exploring new worlds
And creating others where you can be an artist, mother, woman, poet, educator… .. of life
But above all, of LOVE
We are one.

Somos una y todas las mujeres
La misma alma que ama, que crea, que cuida, que amamanta,
que acompaña a crecer.
¿Qué canciones hemos dejado de cantar, por no atrevernos a inventar nuevas letras?
¿Qué amores hemos dejado de sentir, por esconder nuestro corazón tras nuestros temores?
¿Qué cariños hemos dejado de dar y recibir por mirarnos quietas?

Somos alma de mujer
Somos potencial de amor
Somos cántaro de vida
Somos movimiento y quietud
Somos vida

We are one and all women
The same soul that loves, that creates, that cares, that breastfeeds,
That accompanies in growth.
What songs have we stopped singing, for not daring ourselves to create new lyrics?
What loves have we stopped feeling, for hiding our hearts behind our fears?
What affections have we stopped giving and receiving by appearing still?
